As we have been working towards hosting Sistas Women’s Conference this year, we have been very aware of how our nation’s response to the pandemic and movement up and down the Alert Levels could impact our plans. We have now made the decision to postpone Sistas Women’s Conference 2020 which was to be held 17th – 19th September at Mt Eden, Auckland. We appreciate this may be a disappointment for many, but we do have fantastic alternative arrangements. Delegates will hear from us directly about their registration status and further details will be widely communicated in coming days. In short, on Saturday 19th September Sistas will host Sistas One-Day, an online event from 10am to 7pm. The day will be hosted live by Ps Maree de Jong, contain many interactive moments as well as dedicated messages that carry the RISE UP theme, from our full line-up of 2020 speakers. There will also be specific Miss Sistas content available online throughout the day. We believe the theme of RISE UP is a significant God-idea, and just because we are unable to gather in person, doesn’t mean we have to miss what He is wanting to do in and through Sistas.

WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH SISTAS 2020?

In close consultation with Ps Maree and the wider LIFE team, we have, decided to postpone Sistas Women’s Conference 2020 which was to be held 17 – 19 September at Mt Eden, Auckland.

We appreciate this may be a disappointment for many, but we have fantastic alternative arrangements which we’ve outlined below. We believe the theme of RISE UP is a significant God-idea, and just because we are unable to gather in person, doesn’t mean we have to miss what He is wanting to do in and through Sistas and this powerful call to women globally to RISE UP.

I HAVE OPTED IN TO HAVE MY REGISTRATION POSTED TO ME, WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW THAT SISTAS IS POSTPONED?

This will be transferred to 2021 with your registration. We will confirm with you next year that the details are still the same.

CAN I PICK WHICH CONFERENCE I WOULD LIKE MY REGISTRATION TRANSFERRED TO FOR 2021?

Yes. Automatically all active 2020 registrations will be transferred to Conference 2 (16-18 September 2021). If you would prefer Conference 1 (9-11 September 2021), email us at Sistas@lifenz.org and we would be happy to transfer your registration.

I HAVE A MISS SISTAS TICKET FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL BE OVER 18 NEXT YEAR, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Email us at Sistas@lifenz.org and we can change over the ticket to an adult. Please note, you may need to pay the difference between the two price options. An adult will not be able to attend Sistas under a Miss Sistas registration.

SISTAS ONE DAY ONLINE EVENT

DO I HAVE TO WATCH THIS ON SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER OR WILL THIS BE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND AFTER THE EVENT?

All registrations for Sistas One Day will have access to the live content on the day and on demand content for 14 days post the event. If you would like to get a copy of the messages to hold onto longer than this, you can purchase these in the Sistas Marketplace https://sistas.org.nz/marketplace

WHO WILL BE SPEAKING AT THE SISTAS ONE DAY ONLINE EVENT?

We will have exclusive content from our planned 2020 guest speakers on the day.

The day will be hosted live by Ps Maree, contain many interactive moments as well as dedicated messages that carry the RISE UP theme, from our full line-up of 2020 speakers: Ps Charlotte Gambill, Ps Leanne Matthesius, Dr Robi Sonderegger and Ps Melissa de Jong.

HOW CAN I ACCESS THE SISTAS ONE DAY EVENT WITH MY REGISTRATION?

On Friday 18th September, you will be sent an email with your individual link to the Event. If you don't receive this email you can use the link on our website or this app to access, all you will need is your individual attendee number.

WHO ARE THE SPEAKERS FOR SISTAS 2021?

The speakers for 2021 will be announced at the Sistas One Day online event on September 19th 2020. You can register on our website from this date.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR SISTAS 2021?

Registrations for Sistas 2021 will be launched during the Sistas One Day Event. You can register via our website or the Sistas app.
